1966:
W. J. Donovan, Inc. is founded by Bill Donovan, Sr. and Maude Donovan. Bill Donovan had previously been Vice President of T.G. Buckley Co., in Boston, which was the largest agent in the Allied Van Lines system, at that time. The new company serves as an agent for Greyhound Van Lines.
1968:
Bill Donovan, Sr. is elected President of the Traffic Club of New England, the first member of the moving industry to serve in that post, during the Club's seventy-five year history. |
